After graduating with a BSc in Agro-Industry from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in 2000, I received a MSc in Postharvest Technology from Chiangmai University in 2010. I now work for the Northern Development Foundation with responsibilities for community research, budget management, seminars and training.
Our project, with the support from E-idea and local associate partners, aims to create food waste decomposers which are affordable to Thai people. The concept is to turn the organic waste into fertilizer, which, in turn, can improve household hygiene and promote the concept of waste management.

We would like to manage effectively organic waste through the development of food waste decomposers, which are used widely in many countries but are expensive. We aim to create an affordable product for Thai consumers without relying heavily on technology. This will ultimately improve household hygiene, and the waste can be turned into organic fertilizer for plants and the soil.

Our goal is to create a food waste decomposer for processing organic trash which can respond to the Thai people’s lifestyle. Our project aims to promote better household hygiene and mitigate environmental problems caused by waste. The pilot city is Chiang Mai as it is the most populated town in the North and requires a better environment to improve the public image of the city.
E-idea is an excellent chance to turn our project idea into reality. The E-idea competition will give us training to become competent in project management, and to strengthen our confidence to implement successfully our project. The international networking experience that E-idea offers is valuable, and a great opportunity to expand our knowledge and skills to manage our environmental project.
